Apollo Accountability

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 15, 2026. Apollo is built on the principle that your goals are your business.

What Apollo collects

Apollo generates a random device identifier when you first open the app. It is not linked to your name, email address, or Apple ID. It exists so your accountability partner can send nudges.

Goal titles, check-in history, streaks, settings, your partner's name and icon, and related progress data are stored on your device. If iCloud backup is enabled, this data can be backed up to your private iCloud account for reinstall recovery.

If notifications are enabled, iOS issues a push token that Apollo registers with its relay server. The token is used only to deliver partner nudges to your device.

What passes through Apollo's relay

Apollo uses a lightweight relay server to connect paired devices. Device IDs, short-lived pairing codes, nudges, optional messages, optional goal titles, and synced goal lists may pass through the relay for delivery.

Relay data is used to route messages between paired devices. Apollo does not sell, profile, or analyze this data for advertising.

What Apollo does not collect

Apollo does not collect your name, email address, location, health or biometric data, payment information, or data used for advertising or profiling.

Apollo does not use advertising networks, analytics platforms, or crash reporting SDKs.

Data deletion

All goal data lives on your device. Deleting the app removes local app data. iCloud backup data can be managed from your Apple ID iCloud storage settings.

Data that passes through the relay server, such as nudges and sync events, is not retained after delivery.
